Scented Geranium Fragrans Variegata Herb Plant
A lovely compact scented variety with small cream and light green leaves. It has a very strong pine scent. Makes a great variety for a sunny window sill.
Scented Geraniums like well-drained soil in a sunny spot and grow well indoors as well as the conservatory. They will need some protection over the winter so make sure you bring them in if you plan on growing your plants outside in the warmer months.
Is this plant "garden ready"
No, we prefer our plug plants (also known as starter plants) to be potted up before going into the garden. The ideal size is a 9 cm pot, but it can be slightly smaller or larger if you would prefer. In the warmer months, you may get away with planting straight out, but it is probably not worth the risk.
What compost should I use?
A good quality multipurpose compost is ideal for this. You can use your own compost but make sure you know that it is not too high (or low) in nutrients.
Will I get the plants in the picture?
Maybe, The picture is of some of the varieties we grow and more than likely you will get some of these but we will select from the best plants of the moment.
Are all of these plants Hardy?
No, not really. Scented geraniums are best on a windowsill or bright area in the colder months
