About Aztec Sweet Herb: A low growing, spreading perennial herb known by many common names such as; bushy lippia, honeyherb, hierba dulce and was called tzopelic-xihuitl by the Aztecs. The dark green leaves are toothed with a slight texture and can turn a dark reddish purple in bright sunlight. The flowers are tiny and borne in small circular clusters. As the name suggests Aztec Sweet Herb was used as a culinary and medicinal herb by many Native American tribes.
Grows to a height of around 50cm and can spread up to around 1m.
