Echinacea, often called coneflower, are bold perennial favourites: large, daisy-like blooms surrounding prominent seed heads, blooming from early summer through to autumn. These perennials are tough and resilient: thriving in full sun, tolerant of drought once established, and loved by butterflies, bees, and birds alike.

Perfect for border fronts or midsize containers, this collection provides strong impact—colour, structure, and wildlife benefit—all in one package.

* Please note - if you order more than one collection of these plants, you may well get the same varieties again.*

Echinacea Collection – 6 Established 9 cm Coneflower Plants (Mixed Varieties) - Plant information

Size: Expected height 50-60 cm, spreading out to about 45 cm. Double-flowering varieties (e.g. “Cherry Fluff Julia”) may grow taller and wider.

Position: Plant in full sun for best growth and flower display. They will tolerate partial shade, but flowering may be reduced.

Feeding etc: Feeding - Echinacea don't benefit from added nutrients. A pretty low maintenance plant.

Pruning - You can prune to extend bloom time, deadheading will increase energy into producing new flowers.
Propagation - Division is perfect for these plants, giving you healthy parent plants, and new ones free.

Care: Echinacea love to be in well drained soil. Provide ample water during the first year of planting. A bright location is preferable.
