Chilli Trinidad Scorpion - Plant information

Size: Grows to around 60-90 cm tall with a similar spread. The compact, bushy habit suits garden beds and containers alike, producing intensely hot chillies.

Position: Thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. The intense heat of the chillies means it prefers sheltered, warm locations to maximise fruit quality and yield.

Feeding etc: Feed regularly with high-potassium fertiliser to boost fruiting. Prune lightly to maintain shape and encourage airflow. The fruit's extreme heat requires careful handling.

Care: Requires warm conditions and consistent watering for best fruit development. The chillies are extremely hot, so handle with care, using gloves when harvesting or preparing. Protect from frost and provide support if needed.
