Primula Barnhaven Bonheur - Plant information

Size: Grows to approximately 15-20cm tall with a spread of around 20-25cm. Its compact size suits small garden beds and container cultivation. The double flowers add volume without increasing height.

Position: Best grown in partial shade to protect its delicate blooms from harsh sunlight. It thrives in cool, sheltered garden spots where moisture is retained but drainage is good. Ideal for shaded borders and container planting.

Feeding etc: Feed with a balanced fertiliser in early spring to support flowering. Light deadheading maintains plant vigour and extends the flowering period. No heavy pruning required.

Care: This primula prefers moist, well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering during dry spells. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage prolonged blooming. Avoid waterlogging to keep roots healthy. The double flowers are famed for their decorative appeal.
