Portulaca Mega Red - Plant information

Size: Grows to approximately 15 cm tall with a spread of around 30 cm, suitable for compact spaces and containers.

Position: Best grown in full sun for optimal flowering. Tolerates partial shade but with fewer blooms. Prefers well-drained soil and a sheltered spot from strong winds.

Feeding etc: Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertiliser during growing season. Remove dead or damaged stems to maintain plant health and appearance.

Care: Water moderately, allowing soil to dry between watering. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming. Protect from frost during colder months.
