Our Brilliant Bidens Collection showcases some of the very best modern Bidens varieties — bred for richer colours, stronger growth and exceptional flowering performance.

Once used mainly as background plants in baskets, today’s Bidens are bold enough to take centre stage, producing masses of vibrant blooms that bring warmth and energy to any summer display.

You will receive 3 different varieties, 2 of each, giving you 6 healthy starter plants in total. Varieties will be selected at random on the day of dispatch to provide a beautiful mixed selection.

The Sunbird series is known for its free-flowering habit, producing continuous colour from mid-spring right through to the end of summer.

Bidens Collection - Plant information

Size: These plants typically grow to a moderate height suitable for borders and containers. The collection includes a good selection of different varieties, providing varied growth habits. Expect compact to medium spread depending on the variety.

Position: Plant in a sunny spot for best flowering performance. This collection includes a good selection of different varieties that flower for a long period. They tolerate full sun and light shade but thrive best with ample sunlight.

Feeding etc: Feed with a balanced fertiliser during active growth. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming. This collection offers a good selection of different varieties that flower for a long period. Prune lightly to maintain shape and encourage bushiness.

Care: This collection features a good selection of different varieties that flower for a long period. Regular deadheading encourages ongoing blooms. Water moderately and avoid waterlogging. Feed occasionally with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season.

	Starter Plant (Plug Plant) Plug Size: 2cm by 4cm. Our most popular size. This is often the most economical way of buying plants and is a great way to get a head start on the season. Generally this size is best to be potted up before planting out.
	Jumbo Plug Plug Size: 6cm by 7cm. A fantastic alternative to a 9cm pot and saves on plastic too. The plants in this size are well established and give you a head start. This size is perfect for planting straight into containers and baskets as well as the garden.
	9cm pot Pot size: 9cm by 9-10cm. This size hold some well established plants, some of which maybe around 1 year old. We sell most of our ranges in this size and most of the plants sold in this size, are established enough to be planted straight outside.
	13cm or 1 litre pot Pot size: 12-13cm by 12-15cm Currently our largest size of plant, with the exception of our planted containers. Many of our House Plants are available in this size, as well as some special collections and varieties.
