    Hanging Basket Petunia - Plant information

    Size: Supplied in a generously planted hanging basket, this Surfinia Petunia display will quickly fill out to create a cascading ball of colour. Expect trails to reach around 60–90cm (2–3ft) throughout the summer, making it ideal for hanging baskets, brackets and raised displays.

    Position: For the best display, hang your basket in a full sun or lightly shaded position. Surfinias thrive in plenty of sunlight, producing masses of flowers from late spring until the first frosts.

    Feeding etc: Water regularly to keep the compost evenly moist, especially during warm or windy weather, as hanging baskets dry out quickly. Feed once a week with a high-potash liquid fertiliser, such as tomato feed, to encourage continuous flowering and healthy growth throughout the season.

    Care: Remove spent flowers where needed to keep your basket looking its best, although modern Surfinia varieties are largely self-cleaning. Trim back any overly long stems during the season to encourage bushier growth and even more flowers. With regular watering and feeding, your basket will provide a spectacular display all summer long.
