Doone Valley Thyme - Plant information

Size: Grows to approximately 10 cm tall with a spreading habit reaching up to 30 cm wide, forming a dense ground cover.

Position: Thrives best in full sun but tolerates light shade. Prefers well-drained soil with a neutral to alkaline pH. Ideal for rockeries, borders, and herb gardens.

Feeding etc: Apply a balanced fertiliser in early spring to support growth. Regular light pruning keeps the plant compact and healthy. Remove dead stems to improve air circulation.

Care: Water moderately during dry spells but avoid waterlogging. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage fresh growth. Mulch in spring to protect roots and retain moisture.
