Lamium Red Nancy - Plant information

Size: Grows to a compact height of around 20-30 cm with a spreading habit that forms dense mats. This growth habit helps suppress weeds and creates a colourful groundcover.

Position: Thrives in shade or partial sun, making it ideal for less sunny garden spots. It performs well under trees or in woodland gardens where other plants may struggle. Its tolerance to shade allows it to brighten darker areas effectively.

Feeding etc: Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring to support growth. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage fresh growth. The plant is resilient and requires little additional care.

Care: This plant requires minimal maintenance and is very hardy. Regular watering during dry spells helps maintain its vigour. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooming and keep the plant tidy. It tolerates a range of soil types but prefers moist, well-drained conditions.
