A very unusual variety that is often thought to be a new “fashionable” introduction, but this is a decades-old introduction and is a firm favourite with grows. Mainly grown for its striped fruit, it also happens to be an easy to grow variety that has very thin skin and a fantastic flavour. If you want to show off with your home-grown salad in the summer, this is the variety for you.
