This collection is a good selection of different varieties, offering a range of forms and colours. Unless stated, the collection will be made up of the best varieties of the moment. These plants flower for a long period and are very hardy, making them a reliable choice for many gardens. This collection contains a selection of different varieties, each individually labelled.

Lupin West Country Collection - Plant information

Size: Expect plants to reach 90-120cm in height with a spread of 30-45cm. Their upright growth habit suits mixed borders and tall displays. This collection includes a good selection of different varieties.

Position: Plant lupins in a sunny, well-drained spot for best flowering. They tolerate partial shade but flower best with full sun. This collection is hardy and flowers for a long time, adding vertical interest to the garden.

Feeding etc: Feed with a balanced fertiliser in early spring. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming. Cut back foliage after flowering to encourage fresh growth. These hardy plants benefit from good soil preparation.

Care: These lupins are hardy and flower for an extended period. They benefit from regular deadheading to encourage continuous blooms. Provide support for taller varieties to prevent flopping. Mulch in spring to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.

	Starter Plant (Plug Plant) Plug Size: 2cm by 4cm. Our most popular size. This is often the most economical way of buying plants and is a great way to get a head start on the season. Generally this size is best to be potted up before planting out.
	Jumbo Plug Plug Size: 6cm by 7cm. A fantastic alternative to a 9cm pot and saves on plastic too. The plants in this size are well established and give you a head start. This size is perfect for planting straight into containers and baskets as well as the garden.
	9cm pot Pot size: 9cm by 9-10cm. This size hold some well established plants, some of which maybe around 1 year old. We sell most of our ranges in this size and most of the plants sold in this size, are established enough to be planted straight outside.
	13cm or 1 litre pot Pot size: 12-13cm by 12-15cm Currently our largest size of plant, with the exception of our planted containers. Many of our House Plants are available in this size, as well as some special collections and varieties.
