Lupin Shirley Anne - Plant information

Size: Grows to approximately 90-120 cm tall with a spread of 30-45 cm. The upright flower spikes provide vertical interest and structure in the garden.

Position: Plant in a sunny or partly shaded spot with well-drained soil. Lupins thrive best with good air circulation and benefit from a sheltered position to protect from strong winds. Their long flowering period adds colour for many weeks.

Feeding etc: Apply a balanced fertiliser in early spring to support growth. After flowering, cut back to encourage fresh foliage and potential rebloom. This cultivar is hardy and flowers for an extended period.

Care: Lupin 'Shirley Anne' requires minimal maintenance. Regular watering during dry spells helps maintain healthy growth. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage prolonged blooming. The plant is hardy and tolerates a range of soil types, making it suitable for many garden environments.
