A semi evergreen shrub that, depending on how hard the winter is may lose its leaves in harsh weather, but fear not, it will spring back to life as the weather warms up. This plant is really grown for its striking foliage. The lemony mustard coloured leave has a splash of teal in the centre, making for very attractive variegation. This plant has a lovely compact habit and works well grown in the border or a large pot. For years this has been the mainstay of autumn planting schemes and for good reason, it looks great and sets off any plants that surround it.
