Dianthus Apline Flutterburst - Plant information

Size: Grows to approximately 15 cm tall with a spread of up to 30 cm. Forms a dense, low cushion that suits rockeries and edging.

Position: Prefers full sun to light shade. Thrives in well-drained soil and benefits from a sheltered spot to avoid harsh winds. Ideal for alpine gardens and sunny borders.

Feeding etc: Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring. Light pruning after flowering promotes bushier growth. Remove dead foliage to maintain plant health.

Care: Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between watering. Remove spent flowers to encourage prolonged blooming. Protect from excessive moisture in winter to prevent root rot. Very hardy and low maintenance once established.
