Berberis thunbergii f. atropurpurea ‘Harlequin’
A very easy to grow and attractive Berberis. The dark purple variegated leaves have an almost marble look to them as it is mottled with a light pink. Come May and June the pale-yellow flowers contrast the foliage so well. The attraction does not stop there, as in the autumn the leaves turn a vibrant red and really put on a show.
Please be aware: This plant has thorns on it, so keep out of reach of young children.
A sunny to partial shade and is happy in all soils.
Will grow to 1.5m in height and spread 1.5m
