About the Achillea (Yarrow) 'Family': Achillea is a group of flowering plants from the Asteraceae family. It's named after the Greek mythologoical hero Achilles as, according to legend his soldiers grew it to treat their wounds. Most Achillea have fern like, aromatic, rich green foliage and large, flat clusters of tiny flowers on tall stems. These flowers can vary hugely in colour depending on the variety and are very attractive to insects.
About Achillea Sassy Summer Sangria: Sassy Summer type Achillea are taller and more substantial than most other Achillea with sturdy habits and large clusters of flowers. Sassy Summer Sangria produces dark red flowers with a white eye and is one of the tallest of the Sassy Summer varieties. It has a rounded, upright habit and silvery green, fern like leaves. It provides lots of flowers which are great for both cutting and drying.
Can grow to a height of around 70cm up to 90cm.
