What To Do When Your Plants Arrive
Thank you for being a Growers Club member.
Your plants have been grown by us here at Newlands Nursery and have been carefully packed for delivery.
Step 1 – Unpack Your Plants
Carefully remove your plants from the box.
Do not worry if a few leaves have moved during transport. This is completely normal and plants usually recover quickly.
Step 2 – Water If Needed
Check the compost.
If it feels dry, give the plants a gentle watering.
Avoid soaking them immediately.
Step 3 – Give Them Time To Recover
Place plants outside in a sheltered spot for 24–48 hours.
This allows them to recover from their journey before planting.
Step 4 – Plant As Soon As Possible
For best results, plant within a few days of arrival.
If you cannot plant immediately, keep them watered and in a bright sheltered position.
