Why I'd Choose a Mixed Dahlia Collection

I love the variety you get from growing dahlias. Different flower shapes and colours make a summer border much more interesting.

Dahlias are one of those plants I really enjoy seeing in the garden. Once they get going, they can give you a wonderful display of flowers, and there's something very satisfying about growing them from tubers.

What I like about a mixed collection is that you don't have to spend time choosing lots of individual dahlias. You've got 10 tubers to get started with, and a mixture of flower forms and colours to enjoy.

My advice is to give them a sunny spot, don't plant them outdoors too early, and keep removing the faded flowers. A little regular attention can make a real difference to the display.
