About our plant sizes
  • Bred specifically for baskets and bowls.
  • Loads of flowers on a compact, tidy plant.
  • Cascading habit gives instant, rounded coverage.
  • Great cold and weather tolerance for UK winters.

Cool marine blues with a neat, spreading habit Marina pours colour over the rim of baskets and pots for an easy, wavelike display. Perfect for adding a splash of colour to patios, entrances, and garden beds, this variety keeps blooming steadily through the cooler months when other plants fade. Its trailing habit means it works wonderfully in hanging baskets or spilling over the edges of containers, creating a soft, cascading effect that draws the eye. Easy to grow and low maintenance, it's a gardener's friend for quick, reliable beauty.

Pansy Freefall Marina - Plant information

    Size: Height 10-15cm (4-6"). Spread 35-50cm (14-20").

Position: Full sun to partial shade. Excellent for hanging baskets, bowls, containers and as colourful groundcover or the front of borders.

Feeding etc: Feed every 2-3 weeks in the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser, especially for plants in containers. Avoid overwet compost; trim back lightly if plants get leggy.

Care: Plant in fertile, welldrained compost/soil and water regularly to keep the compost just moist. Remove spent flowers (deadhead) to keep plants tidy and encourage continual blooms.
