Dicentra Candy Hearts
One of the stars of the spring garden. Dicentra, often known as bleeding hearts, is a real show stopper. This lovely perennial plant has delicate heart-shaped flowers, in mid to late spring, they spray down from the foliage.
Dicentra can be grown in a pot, as well as the garden and is nice and hardy, so it can be kept outside all year round in the UK. Plant in groups for a shady border, but they grow well too in full sun.
Candy Hearts has sprays of pink flowers that gracefully drop from feathery, mounds of foliage.
