Dahlia Bohemian Spartacus
Dahlia are breathtakingly gorgeous flowers, that come in nearly every colour you could dream of. Dahlia are a genus of tuberous plants of the Asteraceae family. Pollinators like bees and butterflies, are drawn to dahlias, which provide a rich source of nutrition. Brought to Europe in 1789, named after the Swedish scientist Andreas Dahl.
Belongs to the Dinnerplate Dahlia group which is famed for its large flowers, often reaching 25cm in diameter, these flowers do really live up to their name.
Bohemian Spartacus is as spectacular as its name. Rich crimson petals, streaked with buttery yellow, form heads up to 25cm, make this a real show stopper. Excellent for back of borders and for cut flowers. They will flower all summer into late Autumn.
