Thalictrum delavayi 'Hewitt's Double' perennial plant
This perennial plant really does evoke a nice relaxing summer day. The sprays of lilac double flowers will cover the plant in late summer and will produce a mass of colour. A deciduous perennial plant that will often not be the first to break through the ground in the spring ( so make sure you don’t dig it up) but it is well worth the wait as when you get towards the end of the summer and other plants are fading it comes into its own and will give your garden a new lease of life.
Prefers full sun to partial shade in almost any soil. This plant can get hungry so a rich soil is ideal for it to thrive.
