Heuchera 'Obsidian' perennial plant
Dark leaved plants have long been sort after in the garden and with good reason they add some amazing interest to the border and really make the surrounding plants stand out. And you don’t get much darker leaves the Obsidian, strictly speaking they are not black, but they are pretty close. The glossy deep maroon/purple leaves can become even darker in the colder weather and when early summer comes the plant will produces white flowers which really contrast against the foliage. This is an ideal statement plant so make sure you plant it in a pot or the front of the border when you can enjoy it.
Grows well in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil
