  • Ideal for ground cover and rockeries
  • Low-growing habit suits borders
  • Light trimming maintains healthy growth
Thyme 'Creeping Lemon' creates a vibrant, low-growing carpet with a fresh lemon scent. This cultivar offers a lively green foliage tinged with citrus notes, perfect for adding texture and aroma to garden spaces. Its trailing habit makes it ideal for ground cover, rockeries, or cascading over walls. The plant produces small, delicate flowers that add subtle seasonal interest without overwhelming the foliage.

Creeping Lemon Thyme - Plant information

Size: Grows to approximately 10 cm tall with a spread of up to 40 cm, forming a dense mat.

Position: Thrives best in full sun but tolerates partial shade. Prefers well-drained soil and a sheltered spot to protect from harsh winds.

Feeding etc: Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring. Prune lightly after flowering to promote bushier growth and maintain neatness.

Care: Water moderately, allowing soil to dry between watering. Avoid waterlogging to prevent root rot. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth.
