5 Minute Friday - Unboxing and Caring For Plants

My plants seem a bit squashed!

Packaging plants to deliver through the mail does sometimes leave them looking a little compacted, but it's all about making sure they don't get truly damaged in transit! Packaging them in tightly may compact their foliage, but it reduces the potential damage!

It's all about letting them settle

Taking your plants out as soon as you can and giving them some time to breathe is crucial in helping them settle into their new environment! Follow the step-by-step guide below to get them looking as good as they can!

Step-by-Step:

  1. Start by opening your box and removing each plant, making sure none of them were damaged in transit.
  2. Give your plants some time to settle into their new environment.
  3. Check the soil to see if the plant needs watering (if the soil is damp, leave it be!)
  4. Place your plants somewhere light, warm and frost free and let them grow!
